Serengeti National Park

The name Serengeti comes from the Masai word Siringet, that means “endless plain”.

Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous and beautiful parks in the world. Together with both the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Masai Mara area (Kenya) it forms an unique ecosystem crossed throughout the year by the migratory phenomena of wild animals (the Great Migration). 

The park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
