Terms & Conditions:

Passports & Visas:

Ashenale Tanzania Safaris cannot be held liable for any visas, etc. not held by the guests, nor the cost of visas. Therefore it ‘s upon the guest to ensure that passports and visas are valid for the countries visited. Passports should have at least six months of validity after the final day of travel. Most nationalities can get a tourist visa on arrival in Tanzania at the border/airport (USD 50 per person, US Citizens USD 100 per person, UK Citizens £79.95 per person.). This tourist visa is valid for a period of three months. You can also get your visa in advance online or at the embassy in your home country. Check the visa rules before you go.

Payment terms:

After clients confirmed the booking, they receive an invoice with all details.

When booking a safari, a deposit of 30% of the total price is required. This advance payment is used to book and confirm your safari.

Full payment is due 30 days prior to guests’ arrival at the date of the tour for any bookings to remain active. If the full amount is not paid in due time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

Payment Method: Payments can be made by bank wire/transfer or via Credit Card (VISA, MC, AMEX) by using our PESAPAL Link. 

Transfer fee: 5 % charge of package

Cancellation policy:

The following penalties will be made for cancellations:
• Cancellation between 90 and 61 days – 20% of the full reservation amount will be charged
• Cancellation between 60 and 31 days – 50 % of the full reservation amount will be charged
• Cancellation within 30 days or less prior to the date of arrival or no show – 100% of the full reservation amount will be charged

Insurance:

The sole responsibility lies with the guest to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependents/travelling companions for the duration of their trip to Tanzania. This insurance should include: medical expenses and repatriation expenses. Optional insurances are: cancellation or curtailment of the safari, emergency evacuation expenses (flying doctors), damage/theft/loss of personal baggage, money and goods. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday at any time should such a policy not be taken out by you.

Medical conditions and disabilities:

If you or any member of your party have any medical problem or disability which may affect your holiday, please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can advise as to the suitability of the chosen arrangements. In any event, you must give us full details in writing at the time of booking. If we reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline the booking or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of these details.

Increase in Rates:

Clients must accept that conditions in Tanzania are not the same as those in developed countries. In Tanzania, we are exposed to unannounced and sudden changes. The rates in the contract and the T&C are subject to change in the event of any increase in government taxes, levies, park fees and camping fees or introduction of any new taxes of levies of any nature, Ashenale Tanzania Safaris Ltd. reserves the right to pass the increases on to you.

Force Majeure:

All parties shall not be held responsible in the event, and to the extent, the performance of this agreement is delayed or prevented by any cause beyond its control, including “Acts of God” and circumstances not due to its fault or negligence.
